Secure Shopping

We work with the best online security partners to ensure that your payment details are safely encrypted and protected using Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology. This means you cannot inadvertently send private information through an unsecure connection. When sending private data look out for the padlock sign at the foot of your browser – the root of our URL will also change from HTTP to HTTPS.

In addition to encrypting your information and using SSL technology, we’re also amongst the first retailers to sign up to the new Verified by Visa and MasterCard SecureCode services. This acts as the online equivalent of the chip & pin security checks now commonplace when shopping over the counter.

Theses services will give you an extra level of security against unauthorised use of your card. All you will need to do is set up a private password with your card issuer. At the last stage of the checkout process you will automatically be asked to provide the password when you make a purchase.

Data Protection

The privacy of your personal data is important to us and we will ensure that we comply with all UK data protection legislation. We may send you marketing communications including catalogues, and where telephone details are provided, we may contact you in the course of handling a query, order or catalogue request.

We may occasionally make names and addresses (but never email) available to companies whose products we think may interest you. If you would prefer not to receive such offers please let us know by emailing data@kew-online.com , calling our customer service team or updating your preferences on your online account.

If you have any questions concerning our credit card security policies or our handling of your personal data, please get in touch by ringing 020 8487 2001 (9am-6pm, Mon-Fri)  or email data@kew-online.com .
